I don’t know about you, but we love to travel! While everyone else spends the first of the year setting goals to accomplish things, we usually find ourselves planning out the places we would like to visit.
We’re going to try and fly the hubs out to join me at a work meeting in Chicago for a quick weekend getaway and the rest of the year is focused on fun places for our family. We’ve rented a home in Rosemary Beach, Florida with another family and want to do Branson in the fall with my mom.

Because we have so many places to visit on our bucket list, when we moved into our new home, I wanted a neat way to document all the places we’ve been, so we could visualize how much of the world was left to see. That, and I had a giant blank wall I needed to fill with something fairly large!

I found this push pin wall map on etsy and had it customized with our own personalized key. It has been really fun for us to not only remember all the places we’ve been, but also teach the kids a little geography. When we went on our Disney Cruise last year, Arlington wanted to look at the map every day to see all the places we would visit. And when we got home, he wanted to keep looking at it to know where all he had been.

The map came with two colors of push pins, but I found We look forward to many more years of travel, especially as our kids get a little older. Where is your favorite place to visit? Here’s hoping 2020 brings you some adventure! XO, Lindsey Below I’ve linked some of the items seen in the photo. Please leave a comment if you have a question about something not linked.
